Recently, 2013 consolidation plan for the achievements on conceding the land to forestry project was approved the provincial preliminary examination.

This consolidation plan concerned for achievements on conceding the land to forestry project was launched from 2008 in Beihu district. In order to reach “two ensures”(ensure the consolidation of achievements and ensure the long-term livelihood of farmers who conceded the land to forestry), Beihu district figured out scientific working plan with strict measures. Some remarkable results have been achieved by handling this plan.

Till now, 21.24 million yuan has been invested on this project, among which was 10.24 million yuan national special fund. More stable high yield fields, new energy facilities, follow-up industries, economic forest and other scientific measures were applied to consolidate the achievements on conceding the land to forestry project. With all these efforts, ecological, social and economical conditions of Beihu district were upgraded greatly.
