It was learned from traffic police detachment of Chenzhou city that an upgrading work for national road 107 in Chenzhou city would be launched from this September 16, 2013 to December 20, 2014. It would focus on the national road’s environmental construction and comprehensive improvement.

It was introduced that all the environmental construction and comprehensive improvement work would be followed with the “PRC Highway Law” and the State Council’s “Highway Safety Protection Regulations”to handle relative construction projects. It was purposely to fully upgrade the capacity of national road 107 in Chenzhou city, especially to upgrade it as a safe, civilized and green road.

The key construction and improvement work for this upgrading work are as follow: upgrading of road quality, special improvement action, five special projects, and perfection of management mechanism. The whole work was divided into three phases: first for propaganda phase from August 30, 2013 to September 15, 2013; second for construction and improvement phase from September 16, 2013 to December 20, 2014; third for inspection and acceptance phase from December 20 to 31, 2014.

It was stated by the relative principal of the traffic police detachment that enhanced guidance and propaganda work would be handled out by the detachment to ensure the smooth traffic condition of national road 107 during the upgrading period.
