6 Hunan provincial level projects with 10.8 billion yuan investment were signed on site by Chenzhou city

It was reported that 2013 Hunan Economic Cooperation Conference & Hunan Commerce Convention was held in Zhuzhou city on September 26, 2013. More than 1000 guests from 47 delegations from domestic and abroad, chambers of commerce and cities of Hunan province attended this fair. Concerned for Chenzhou city, 6 Hunan provincial level projects with 10.8 billion yuan investment were signed on site. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City and Zhang Xihui- Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the opening ceremony of the fair.

7 key activities would be carried out during this conference, they are as follow: opening ceremony of the conference & signing ceremony of key projects, development forum, cooperation conference for enterprises and institutes & new industrialization products exhibition, promotion activities handled by cities of Hunan province, inspection activity for the businessmen, etc. All the activities were purposely to promote cities of Hunan province and attract more investment to be settled there.

Concerning for the 6 Hunan provincial level projects signed by Chenzhou city in the signing ceremony, they were distributed in different areas of Chenzhou city, such as Chenzhou Export Processing Zone, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Industrial Park of Suxian district, Zixing city, Yizhang county, Yongxing county, and Rucheng county. Yizhang county’s project was amounted to 3.3 billion yuan investment.

Along with the rapid improvement of Hunan commerce, it became an important force to promote Hunan province’d reform and development in recent years. 196 Human chambers of commerce have been established till now, covering more than 60,000 enterprises with thousands of billions assets. Thanks to the first Hunan Commerce Convention held in 2007, better communication was handled among enterprises, which helped to attract more investments placed in Hunan province. According to the record, more than one hundred billion yuan have been settled down in Hunan province from 2007. Hunan chambers of commerce is playing an more important role in modern society to improve Hunan province’s development.
