Along with the formal trial production of Jiahe Weixu Casting Ltd., Co., 28 people from Jiahe county started their new job there. It was learned that thanks to the “half an hour employment circle” project carried out by Jiahe county, about 38,900 rural labors found their new jobs in the county in recent two years.

Jiahe county was used to be a labor-exporting county for its large population but less lands. According to the data, 100,000 people worked outside the county every year in earlier times. But in recent years, a central industrial park platform was established along with the development of local industries. Hundreds of millions funds were placed in the investment of the secondary industry and service industry every year to support the construction of a large number of enterprises. With their efforts, some industrial parks were formed in recent years to undertake the industrial transfer of eastern and southern China, which helped to form a new employment condition for local people. It was reported that till the end of this August, hundreds of enterprises were introduced to settle down in the county within three years, which helped to provide 28,000 working vacancies to local people. This situation laid a significant foundation for the surplus labors of the county to find new jobs.

In order to play the best role of the advantages of " half an hour employment circle", Jiahe county’s personnel and labor departments tried best to carry out the employment preparation work by setting some employment support platforms and contact points around the county. Besides those, more than 10 job fairs would be held by Jiahe county’s Labor Employment Bureau. At the meantime, free employment advertisements were released to the county’s media year-round. All those measures helped to share the information around the county and enabled all the people to be aware with the employment information.

“Thanks to the job fair held by the county’s Labor Employment Bureau that I found my new job in the county. Compared with working in Guangdong province, I can gain similar salaries every month here, but I can take care of my family as well in working here which is much better than working outside.”said Hu Jiuhua- one employee of local enterprises. It was learned that Hu’s home was about 3kms from the industrial park. If taking public bus, he can arrive at the factory in minutes. As introduced by Hu, some of his fellow townsmen came back from Guangdong province to find a job in local enterprises as him this year.
