It was reported that Chenzhou city’s ‘beautifying environment- cleaning homeland’ action was launched on October 10, 2013. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee announced the launching of this action in the main venue of Wuling square and the actions of other ten sections were launched simultaneously. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou delivered an important speech.

It was purposely to reach the goal of establishment of national sanitary city in 2014 to launch this action. Some cleaning actions concerned on departments’ courtyards, hospitals, schools, urban roads, transport vehicles, infrastructure construction sites, farmers’ markets and areas in 200meters, lakes and rivers, bus stations, train stations, places along the train line, walls with frontage, communities, etc. were the key places to operate the ‘beautifying environment- cleaning homeland’ action.

Qu Hai stated that it was intended to stimulate people’s enthusiasm to take part in the establishment of national sanitary city and form the sound atmosphere for the establishment, which would be helpful to upgrade Chenzhou city’s sanitary level and create a ordered, healthy and beautiful living condition. It was a significant activity concerned for Chenzhou people’s future life, so all the departments should follow the unified arrangements figured out by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government to carry out the action actively.

After the launching ceremony, the municipal leaders, cadres and staffs who attended the ceremony took immediate action to clean some places as courtyards of Chenzhou municipal party committee, Huiai square, Tianlong bus stop, Luojiajing farmers’ market, etc..

Some staffs were dispatched to clean psoriasis advertisements on some roads of Suxian and Beihu district. Many citizens were attracted learn the details of the “beautifying environment- cleaning homeland” action after learning their purpose to carry out such activity.

Some municipal leaders attended the activities handled on main venue and sections.
