When Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City arrived at the construction site of Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center at the night of October 17, 2013, more than 300 workers were still working hard there. A banner written “ making sure its fulfillment on November 11” was hanged on the top of the construction site to encourage them to fight harder to meet the target well.

It was purposely to convey greetings to the workers who were fighting on the construction site and check the progress of the project by visiting there at night.

Qu checked all the construction details of this project during the visit and was learned that thousand workers were trying their best to promote the construction work rapidly. Qu highly affirmed their achievements and encourage them to do it better.

Li Mengqing- a safety officer of the construction site was on duty for that night. Qu asked him many detailed questions concerned for their rest, safety facilities and supports and emphasized that the safety was the top issue for the project.

A mobilization conference was held on the construction site afterward.

“It is really wonderful for all of you to handle the construction work with such rapid progress.” Qu said. He also stated that Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center was main venue for the first South Hunan International Undertaking Industrial Transfer Trade Fair, so all the departments should try their best to solve the problems hindered on the way of the promotion of this project and all the owners and constructors should carry out the construction work scientifically and rapidly with high quality.

Qu also required that the media should take more reports on the workers who fought their best on“one-hundred-day campaign” of key projects construction, especially the outstanding ones with special contributions.
