It was learned that an aid project for poor disabled people was listed in “2013’s 100 well-being projects” of Suxian District Party Committee and Suxian Government in the beginning of 2013. Recently, it was reported by Suxian District Disabled Person’s Federation that three aid projects for the poor disabled people undertaken by the district have been fulfilled ahead of time schedule.
It was introduced that the three aid projects were as follow: rescue rehabilitation for 132 poor children aged 0-6 years old, free adaptation aids for 300 poor disabled people, and foster aid for 160 disabled people with intellectual, spiritual and severe physical disabilities. A sound implementation work was carried out by Suxian District Disabled Person’s Federation to ensure these well-being projects to be handled well. Till now, 151 poor children aged 0-6 years old were benefited from the rescue rehabilitation, 320 poor disabled people were facilitated with free adaptation aids, and 174 intellectual, spiritual and severe physical disabled people were aided with foster service, covering the annual task of 114.4%, 106.7% and 108.8% separately.
