Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee was talking with Gillard Erdan- Minister of Israel Communication Ministry on November 6, 2013.

It was reported that in order to expand the international cooperation, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee led an investigation team to visit Israel and South Africa from November 4 to 11, 2013. Some pragmatic results as project agreement, friendly cooperation, occasional two-way communication, and etc. were achieved during their trip.

The reason why chose Israel and South Africa as the destinations of the investigation trip was because there was some practical cooperation reached with these two countries in recent years in Chenzhou city. For example, the high-tech cooperation between Gospell and Israel, Sun City international aging community between Suxian district and South Africa and some other service industry projects.

On arrival of Israel, Xiang and his investigation team investigated its industrial parks, water-saving agriculture, communications, environmental protection, cultural preservation and tourism development, urban management and other aspects without stop. Though Israel is with extremely poor resources, it was with global advanced technologies on electronics, telecommunications, computer software, medical devices, biotechnology, agriculture, aviation, etc. According to the data, Israel was ranked the top place on national per capita GDP in the world in 2012. All the investigation team members were impressed with its modern cities, well-developed transportation and communications infrastructure, advanced high-tech products, unrivaled agricultural drip irrigation technology, etc. During this trip, a clear cooperation intension on the high-tech product cooperation was confirmed between Gospell and relative parties of Israel. Gillard Erdan- Minister of Israel Communication Ministry and Luvik Danilovech- Mayor of Beersheba met Xiang Lili and his investigation team members and discussed some more details on the further cooperation. Gillard stated that enhanced cooperation should be established between Israel and Chenzhou on communications, electronics, environmental protection, new energy, and other fields. Danilovech stated that forceful cooperation should be promoted among Israel and Chenzhou city. Danilovech also expressed his willing to visit Chenzhou city in some proper time to further promote the communication between two cities.

In South Africa, Xiang Lili and his team investigated its pension and some other service industries, mineral processing, ecological and urban construction, tourism and cultural complexes, etc. As one of the BRICS, South Africa is the largest economic entity in Africa and also is the fourth largest mining countries of the world. It is with a world’s middle income level of per capita income. All the members were impressed with South Africa’s unique climate, long coastline, integration of urban and rural areas, clear air condition and thick forest. Some cooperation agreements on Sun City international aging community and biological health deep processing projects were signed among Suxian district, Chenzhou city and some enterprises of South Africa. Xiang presented a report of Chenzhou’s development condition on the investment attraction conference in Consulate General of China in Johannesburg, and expressed the strong willing of Chenzhou city on further cooperation with the enterprises of South Africa. Xiang also invited the businessmen there to visit Chenzhou city in future.

As stated by Xiang Lili, it was a pragmatic action for the implementation of international strategy of Chenzhou city to visit Israel and South Africa. Freer mind should be kept by Chenzhou city to promote the international cooperation and upgrade Chenzhou city’s improvement accordingly.
