It was learned from the forth representative conference of Beihu District Labor Union that four measures carried out by the union to establish the harmonious labor relations.
First measure, participation mechanism: the labor union paid much attention on protecting employees’ right scientifically and promoted to form a working mechanism to participate into examination and investigation of law enforcement with the cooperation of People’s Congress, CPPCC and some labor security departments.
Second measure, collective wage negotiation system: till now, 603 units signed the collective wage contract with Beihu District, covering 27,000 employees. Among the units, this mechanism played a much more active role in the education industry of Beihu District, especially for the private schools.
Third measure: publicity of factory affairs and workers’ congress: it was reported that all state-owned enterprises and 75% private enterprises of Beihu district has established this domestic management system of publicity of factory affairs with the key measure of workers’ congress. Due to this publicity of factory affairs, most of the employees were inspired to take more active part in the daily work, which greatly helped to promote the development of enterprises.
Forth measure: support mechanism: it was introduced that a support working pattern with suitable guidance, working vacancies, supporting funds and petition channels was formed in Beihu district. More than 4 million yuan were collected in recent 5 years to help more than 13,000 poverty stricken employees and farmer workers.
