When reporters arrived at Fengchuan group, Shantang village, Yonglejiang town, Anren county, a doggerel on the description of the sound housing activities handled out there was heard by them. As said by the doggerel, all new houses built there were without occupation of fields.

On reporters’ trip in Shantang village, they found that the old houses and cob brick built houses were not available there anymore, but 5 new buildings instead. Long Xiapi- Village Secretary of Shantang village showed the registered book to reporter and counted that over 300 old houses were demolished in 2013, but all new houses were without occupation of fields.

Shantang village where is with more mountains than fields is with 257 farmer families. Followed with the construction concept “ecological living, leisure and development”and the scientific planning figured out by experts, villagers handled out the construction of roads, greening project and infrastructure accordingly. At the meantime, two construction models can be chosen by villagers to build new houses: one was unified construction with group, and the other was individual construction with unified house design. Some subsidies were issued to the family which demolished old houses to build the new ones and these families would be facilitated with free greening and biogas digester.
