Education:

164 qualified compulsory education schools have been finished in 2013

In 2013, 164 qualified compulsory education schools have been finished in Chenzhou city, covering 267.5% annual task. The total investment was amounted to 109.45 million yuan, covering 321.63% of planning investment.

Public kindergartens construction was with most prominent achievements, especially for rural public kindergartens that 31 ones were completed in 2013, covering the annual task of 182.35% with the amount of 24.59 million yuan which was 147.33% of annual investment. 4 kindergartens and 100 school buildings safety projects targets were fulfilled for central urban area respectively.

Furthermore, much more attention were paid on the improvement of education team that 546 normal university students subsided with public expenses were enrolled into universities, fulfilling the annual task of 136.5%.

Pension:

22 rural gerocomiums were completed in 2013

It was learned that 21.19 million yuan was placed on the gerocomiums projects. Till the end of 2013, 22 rural gerocomiums have been completed.

At the meantime, 4.09 million yuan was placed on home care service stations to serve for the 20,000 aged people of urban and rural areas.

Furthermore, the contribution rate of social pension insurance of urban and rural area was up to 94.09%, covering the annual task of 110.69%. In order to assist for the disadvantaged groups, 395.3 million yuan urban minimum living guarantee funds, 295.2 million yuan rural funds, and 36.88 million yuan rural five guarantees funds were issued by Chenzhou government in 2013 separately.

Medical treatment:

Great efforts were tried on the promotion of community health centers

It was learned that 12 million yuan subsidies were allocated to five sub-district community health centers as Yanquan, Chenjiang, Luoxian, Bailudong and Guanshandong in Beidu district and Suxian district.

Besides that, more basic and major public health service projects were promoted in 2013 in Chenzhou city. Urban and rural residents' health records standardized filing rate and national immunization program vaccines single vaccination rate were of 78.8% and 98% respectively. 381,890 permanent residents over 65-year-old were covered into the health management with a managing rate of 90.7%.

Catering:

15 professional vegetable production bases were established in Chenzhou city in 2013

According to the record, 15 professional vegetable production bases were established in Chenzhou city in 2013, covering 12,100 mu areas which was 3200 mu more than planned area. This effort greatly helped to guarantee the safety of vegetable provision. 13.215 million yuan funds were issued on the bases construction. Furthermore, some policies for price adjustment were released accordingly to upgrade the management level.

Sound achievements were also reached on the standardization renovation of farmers’ markets. All the 40 markets were with tidy condition after the reconstruction projects, which helped to provide better living condition to people.

Transportation:

100 more “zero emission" buses were placed to operation in Chenzhu city in 2013.

It was introduced that 267 unqualified public buses were disposed in 2013 with total 1.61 million yuan funds. Furthermore, 100 new LNG “zero emission”public buses were purchased by Chenzhou Public Bus Group in 2013, plus the earlier 100 same LNG public buses bought in 2012, 200 LNG public buses are available in Chenzhou city. 

Concerning for the parking issue, more than 7000 vacancies of 108 parking slots of departments were provided to public in 2013, which greatly help to ease the parking problem faced by people.
