It was learned from Zixing city that 1.78 million yuan donations of the total 1.88 million yuan collected funds were issued to relative projects. No working expenditure included in the donation funds.

Zixing city paid high attention on charity work by innovating new ideas, handling different donation collection activities and propagandizing with different media. Due to all these efforts, Zixing city is with a good charity atmosphere and people are with good charity awareness, so the donations received by Zixing Charity Federation increased year by year. In 2013, 1.88 million yuan funds were collected by the federation, 0.327 million yuan of which was from the enterprises.

At the meantime, Zixing city strictly regulated the funds management to play its important role in supporting the social security system. Zixing Charity Federation was supervised by the audit department and society to ensure its “sunshine” operation of funds. All the donations were used on different kinds of charity events, well-being projects, disadvantaged groups, and etc. Concerned for the working expenditure of the federation, it was beard by Zixing finance department’ special funds not from the donations.

In 2013, 1000“gold-leaf medical cards” accounted with 0.5 million yuan were issued to 318 poverty stricken patients; 0.655 million yuan medical-aid funds were subsidized for 217 destitute serious illnesses patients; 0.27 million yuan was released to 90 poverty stricken university freshmen; and 0.112 million yuan was issued to 29 excellent poverty stricken middle school students and 25 poverty stricken teachers. Furthermore, 0.245 million yuan donations were collected for Sichuan earthquake and some other public programs. According to the data, 1.782 million yuan donations were issued by Zixing Charity Federation in 2013.
