It was reported that economy work conference of Anren county was held recently. Food safety was highlighted as the top issue for the economy work. It was purposely to ensure the improvement of Anren rice brand with high quality by paying great efforts on food production.

Anren county is a major grain-producing counties of Chenzhou city and Hunan province, which reached the achievements of nine-consecutive-year increase of grain production and five-consecutive-year award of national and Hunan provincial advanced grain-producing county. In recent year, Anren county kept accelerating the construction of rural land circulation system and handling some effective measures to activate farmers positivity to plant grain. At the meantime, more funds were placed to upgrade the infrastructure construction to provide more convenient facilities to grain production, which helped to attract more young farmers to come back hometown to join in the grain production industry.

Furthermore, relative departments of Anren county played active roles to enhance the technology guidance on grain production, which helped to upgrade the agricultural production mechanization level, promote the development of ecological agriculture, and promote transformation and upgrading of agriculture. Currently, the rate of rural land circulation area was over 40%. It was estimated to be with over 700,000mu grain plantation areas, accounting for 300,000 tons production volume.
