Spring Festival travel of 2014 has been started for days. All the staff of Suxian Maritime Department went to check the safety issue of water transportation recently.

The staff checked some ships without notification. Concerned for the overload, damaged life jackets, expired fire extinguishers, and dangerous cargo delivery issues, all staff paid special attention to check and asked the owners to solve the problems immediately. At the meantime, the staff interpreted some safety knowledge to the passengers on site and kept expressing the importance of life jackets. All staff expressed their wishes to the passengers and ship owners to spend a safe Spring Festival with enhanced safety awareness.
