It was learned from Chenzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau that 3.32 million passengers were transported by highway and waterway in Chenzhou city during the Spring Festival holiday, up 15.3%, setting a new record for the transportation history of Chenzhou city. Though under such great pressure, no retention and accident happened during that period. 

During the Spring Festival holiday, over 3100 passenger cars, 700 public buses, 1700 taxies and 300 passenger vessels were placed to operation to ensure the efficient transportation capacity. At the meantime, strict inspection, sound service, enhanced regulation of behaviors, etc. were handled out well in Chenzhou city to grant people with a safe and harmonious festival.
