“Chenzhou city should try more efforts on the promotion of national ecological civilized demonstration city to be the bridgehead of Hunan province’s opening up.” said Zhang Wenxiong- member of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary of Working Committee of Changzhutan “two-oriented society” pilot site and He Baoxiang- Vice Governor of Hunan Province. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City and Zhong Benqiang- Chairman of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee attended the discussion with other representatives of Chenzhou delegation.

13 representatives of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress delivered their speeches on the conference.

Xiang Lili suggested that more supports and favorable policies should be placed on Chenzhou city’s construction of “two-oriented society” and south Hunan Industrial Undertaking Transfer Demonstration Area.

More suggestions were presented by the representatives, such as supports on Nanling mountain range ecological functional area, economic cooperation demonstration area of Hunan and Guangdong province border part, Dongjiang lake basin, and etc.

Zhang stated that further efforts should be tried by Chenzhou city to enhance its reform and opening up to be the bridgehead of Hunan province’s opening up. Chenzhou city should fully place its location advantage to carry out the opening up with freer mind, innovative measures, and more favorable policies.

Zhang also said that Chenzhou city should accelerate its construction on the establishment of national ecological civilized demonstration city on the basis of great achievements of ecological construction. Chenzhou city should keep this great supports on ecological construction to improve Chenzhou city to be “city in the forest and leisure city”.

He Baoxiang highly affirmed Chenzhou city’s great achievements in 2013 and suggested Chenzhou city to highlight its features and location advantages to improve its further development, especially on the construction of opening economic platforms, improvement of key and featured industries on opening up and undertaking industrial transfer and upgrading of service industries.
