It was reported that a working conference of construction and management was held in Chenzhou city recently by Chenzhou housing construction, urban management, planning, real estate, urban investment and housing fund. It was learned that further promotion of new urbanization would be promoted in Chenzhou city, focusing on the frame of great cross town cluster. At the meantime, further improvement of urban infrastructure construction would be promoted on the basis of projects construction. According to the plan, 448 million yuan investment would be placed on the construction issues to upgrade Chenzhou urban area’s water supply and drainage facilities construction.

Along with the continuous expansion of Chenzhou urban area, the earlier water supply and drainage system is far behind the demands of city development. 8 projects as water supply network construction and renovation project for urban area, Chenyong Avenue (Zixing-Chenzhou) water supply network project, Dongjiang river drinking water project, comprehensive renovation project on urban torrent discharge, and etc. were planned to be handled out in Chenzhou city in 2014 to upgrade its water supply and drainage system. It was purposely to meet the target that urban public water supply popularizing rate can hit 95% at the end of 2014. In addition, some more investment would be placed on the construction of the facilities concerned of gas supply, electricity supply, urban traffic, pollution control, and etc.

Gong Fengxiang- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission stated that urban construction and management was not only the key point for development, but also the fundamental for people’s livelihood, which indicated the city’s image and people’s demands. Chenzhou city’s urban construction was under a good condition currently, so all relative departments should seize the chance to promote the great cross town cluster construction to build a more beautiful Chenzhou city.
