It was learned that some working conferences for Hunan Provincial People’s Congress would be handled out in 2014 to provide some references for Hunan Provincial Party Committee. Luo Shuyong- Deputy Secretary of Departments Party Group and Deputy Secretary-general of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee led an investigation team to visit Chenzhou city and carry out some special studies for NPC work.

Some symposiums were held by the investigation group with some principals of the counties and cities’ NPC Standing Committee, representatives, and principals of some departments. The group discussed details with the principals on NPC work and learned some problems and difficulties hindered on their way for further improvement of the work. The group also asked for some comments and suggestions concerned for the work handled out by Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee.

Sound achievements were reached on the promotion of local economic development, acceleration of overall development of urban and rural areas, supports on public service, maintenance of social fairness and justice, and etc. by Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee from the first session of fourth Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress.

The investigation group highly affirmed the good results gained by Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee and highly appraised its spirit on exploration and innovation of new working method. The group confirmed that all the comments and suggestion would be studied well after they are back to office. The group also expressed its willing and encourage to Chenzhou city to handle a better work in 2014- the 60th anniversary for establishment of the system of people’s congress.
