The site of launching ceremony for “trans-Chenzhou ecological civilization trip”

Focusing on the establishment of national forest city, promotion of ecological civilization and improvement of beautiful Chenzhou city’s construction, “trans-Chenzhou ecological civilization & establishment of national forest city trip” was launched in Chenzhou city on April 8, 2014. It was an activity for the concentrated interview handled out by some Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal media. Liu Hesheng- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee announced the launching of this activity in Wuling Square and presented the representative of the media team with a flag.

The media team was formed by Hunan Daily, Hunan TV, Chenzhou Daily, Chenzhou Broadcasting and TV Station, Chenzhou News, Chenzhou Xinbao and some other units. After launching ceremony, the team would take about one month to go to visit 11 districts and counties of Chenzhou city and export processing areas and take some interviews on comprehensive renovation of rivers, renovation of rural condition, ecological agriculture’s development, and other aspects. It was purposely to show and share the new measures and experience on the promotion of ecological civilization construction in different places of Chenzhou city by posting the interviews.

It was learned that Chenzhou city was famous as “city in the forest” for its beautiful ecological condition. It is the “central ecological ridge”of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi province and the headstream of Xiangjiang river, Zhujiang river and Ganjiang river system. According to the data, its forest coverage rate is over 65% now. Followed with the principal “enhancing ecological civilization concept, advocating green consumption model, and promoting ecological culture industry”, the team would try best to highlight Chenzhou city’s sound work and experience on the promotion of establishment of national forest city.
