It was required by Qu Hai on his investigation trip for greening work of Wuguang high speed railway (Chenzhou section)

It is one of the key contents for Chenzhou city’s establishment of national forest city and construction of green Hunan province to handle the greening work along Wuguang high speed railway (Chenzhou section). Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City carried out a special investigation on this work on April 12, 2014. 

Qu Hai led his investigation team to check along Wuguang high speed railway in that morning. When arrived at the crossing of Masan road, Matian town, Yongxing county, they noticed a quarry was set among the green lands and required the principal of Yongxing county to carry out reforestation work in this area at their soonest time.

Concerned for the barren land problem found in oil tea base of Gaoting town, Yongxing county, Qu Hai called in relative principals to hold an on-site working conference and emphasized that the reforestation work should be handled immediately to avoid the problem sacrificing ecological environment to short-term economic profit.

Along with the decoration work handled in Bagongfen village, Yongxing county, its image was upgraded greatly and helped to show a beautiful scenery along the railway. Qu Hai stated that the greening work along high speed railway should be better promoted with beautiful village construction projects.

Qu Hai highly affirmed the greening work carried out in Ruokou area of Beihu district where was recovered with green trees instead of stockyards. Qu also encouraged Beihu district to promote some more greening projects in future.

A scheduling conference was held afterward to arrange further work.

Principals from Yongxing county, Beihu district, Guiyang county, Suxian district and Yizhang county delivered speeches there and confirmed the time limit for the renovation work.

“Though great achievements were gained on the greening work along high speed railway, some weak points were still hindered on the way.” said Qu Hai. He emphasized that the approval and inspection on Chenzhou city’s establishment of national forest city would be carried out by the State Forestry Bureau in this June. The greening work on channels is one of the key contents concerned for the approval and inspection, so more specified guidance ideas should be figured out with specified working mechanism to ensure all greening work to be fulfilled on time; more attention should be placed on key projects; more efforts should be tried on some difficult projects; more attention should be placed on the greening work on joint points as high speed railway station, entrance of tunnel, and etc.; overall promotion work should be improved to upgrade the greening work along high speed railway; and more enhanced leadership should be carried out to promote the greening work and ensure the establishment of national forest city to be fulfilled successfully.
