On June 10, 2014, the establishment office of Chenzhou city organized some departments as Chenzhou Commerce Bureau, establishment office of Beihu district, and etc. visited Xiaoyuchong Farmers’Market of Yongquan sub-district to conduct an acceptance inspection. The inspection team checked the construction data, visited the upgraded market’s site and handled comprehensive assessment to carry out the acceptance inspection work. The inspection team highly affirmed the work done by the sub-district for all indexes met the standards of establishment of national sanitary city well.

It was learned that Xiaoyuchong Farmers’Market which was a typical street market was established in 1990s’. Because of its small scale, low- level, disordered management, it badly affected people’s daily life. In order to solve the problems, Yongquan sub-district conquered many difficulties to collect over 0.4million yuan funds to place on this upgrading project. Removal of illegal sheds, reconstruction of gate, qualified upgrading and some other projects were handled out by the sub-district and finished on time, which fundamentally solve the disordered situation of the market and upgrade the city’s image.

Along with the upgrading project, people who live near the market can enjoy a better living condition as well. It was one of the examples for the sub-district to practice the Party’s mass line, which highly affirmed by local people.
