It was learned that Yongxing county and Yizhang county were enrolled into Chenzigui two oriented society construction demonstration area with the approval of Hunan Provincial Government. They would be favored with the policies of two-oriented demonstration areas of Changzhutan experimental area. Till now, all the 6 counties and cities of the core area of Chenzhou great cross town cluster were covered into Chenzigui “two-oriented society” construction demonstration plot, which formed Chenzhou great cross cluster two oriented society demonstration area. The construction of “two-oriented society” and new urbanization were promoted together.

In recent years, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government placed great attention on implementing Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government’s strategy of “four modernization and two-oriented society”. Focusing on the target “to establish as the most opening city of Hunan province and inter provincial central city of Hunan-Guangdong- Jiangxi province”, Chenzhou city placed great efforts on promoting Chenzigui “two-oriented” demonstration belt construction and Chenzhou great cross cluster construction . At the meantime, it accelerated livable city construction on the basis of overall development of urban and rural areas and ecological development concept, which helped to promote its stable economic and social development. In the first half year of 2014, the total volume of GDP, fixed asset investment, actual use of foreign investment and import & export trade in Chenzigui “two-oriented society” demonstration area were up to 70.79billion yuan, 59.64billion yuan, $447milloom and $1.54billion, accounting for 88.02%, 76.15%, 75.99% and 99.47% of Chenzhou city. It placed a more important role on the promotion of Chenzhou city’s economic development.
