It was reported that Liu Fusheng- former Chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC led an investigation team to visit Chenzhou city from September 10 to 12, 2014. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City accompanied Liu with this investigation.

On this 3-day trip, the team members visited Chenzhou Museum, Xiaobu Nanling Ecological City, Sanhe village of Beihu district, Chenzhou Convention and Exhibition Center, Chenzhou Sports Center, Baokou village of Yongxing county, Yongxing demonstration park of recycling economy, Dongjiang lake of Zixing city, Heping village of Suxian town, Chenzhou Export Processing Zone, Xiangnan Uprising Memorial, and some other places. The leaders listened carefully on their trip and presented their comments and suggestions.

All the team members agreed that with the healthy development of economy and society, Chenzhou city changed greatly in both urban and rural areas and people’s living condition was upgraded greatly as well. Concerned for the urban construction, both transportation construction and upgrading of city were achieved great results to promote the infrastructure construction and perfect city’s functions efficiently. At the meantime, modern agriculture, special agriculture, ecological agriculture and sightseeing agriculture were improved well in the rural area, which improve the rural area to be more beautiful and rural residents’ living condition to be better. As a red city, many revolutionists were born in Chenzhou city. The team members hoped that Chenzhou people can keep the revolutionists spirit to fight for further improvement of Chenzhou city, especially seizing the chance of deepening reform to play its location advantages to promote Chenzhou city’s development.

Some other retired Hunan provincial leaders joined in the investigation team. Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city attended some relative activities.
