It was reported that the first village level household refuse collection and transfer station of Yongxing county was started to construct in Yuanzhuang village, Yongxing county, which indicated that its intelligent sanitation integration of urban and rural areas has been proceeded to the construction of second phase.

According to the requirements of intelligent sanitation integration of urban and rural areas, Yongxing county would try to realize four-stage treatment of the refuse, which refers to classification of household refuse by family, collection by cleaners, compression transit by county and town, and unified disposal by county. Village level household refuse collection and transfer station was one of the key points for this model.

It was introduced that Yongxing county would set one village level household refuse collection and transfer station in every natural village of the county and town. Yuanzhuang village’s station was the first one which was launched for construction. Once finished, all the refuse of the village would be classified, collected and transited by three types- combustible refuse, incombustible refuse and hazardous refuse. Followed with this method, it can help to solve the refuse treatment problem of the urban and rural areas from the very beginning and can help to provide a more comfortable, healthier and clearer living condition to the rural residents and reach the goal of integrated treatment of urban and rural environment.
