It was reported that Chenzhou Rare Metals Industrial Technology Innovative Strategic Alliance was founded on September 25, 2014, which marked that a further progress was reached by Chenzhou city on combination of enterprises, universities and researches and construction of “five innovation projects”.

The establishment and development of industrial technology innovative strategic alliance well meet the demand to integrate industrial technology innovative resources and guide the innovative elements to gather with enterprises. It is also an effective way to promote the innovation of industrial technology, upgrade innovative capacity of industrial technology and improve the core competitiveness of the industry. Though Chenzhou city is with abundant rare metals resources, its technology is not so strong.
