It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City investigated the safety production before 2014 Chinese National Day. Qu required that safety production should be kept as the top issue to ensure all people to spend a safe holiday.

Transportation hubs, key enterprises, and regions with dense people streams were the key parts for Qu’s investigation. He visited the public bus terminal of Chenzhou city, Chenzhou Yifei Fireworks Trading Group, Shengyuan Times Square, and etc. to check the safety guide, emergency preparation, informatization supervision and some work concerned for firefighting as firefighting channels, facilities, skill training, and etc.

Qu Hai checked some facilities and devices of safety work personally when he visited the places. He stated that it was the peak time of passenger stream, people stream and auto stream during the National Day holiday as well as the period with high potential to cause some safety accidents. So all the departments should pay close attention on the safety production and well implement the responsibility of safety production of enterprises and supervision responsibility of relative departments. Moreover, stricter safety production measures and mechanism of leaders on duty should be implemented as well to ensure the safety work would be handled well during the holiday.

Qu emphasized that during the holiday, the transportation departments should pay more attention on security check to ensure no forbidden goods loaded; should follow the passenger transportation rules strictly to enhance the management of staffs and autos, especially on avoiding some illegal behaviors as overspeed, overload, tired driving , and etc. The enterprises should take the safety production as the best benefit and keep following the standard production, regulated production and safety production procedures; and should enhance the training to upgrade the workers’ awareness of safety production. The markets, shopping malls, cinemas, and other places with dense people stream should set the clear, concise and specific firefighting signs; should regulate the roadside stall businesses to ensure all the fire fighting accesses to be clear; and should facilitate with fire fighting devices and carry out firefighting training courses to upgrade the staffs’ capabilities on handling emergency issues. Relative departments should strengthen the supervision and guidance work to ensure all the safety production measures to be carried out well; should perfect and implement the prize and punishment mechanisms to mobilize all the social forces to join in the safety production work.
