When reporters arrived at Rucheng county before night fell, a group of polices who wore “red armband” were patrolling in the streets. They patrolled in the main roads, markets, residential areas, and etc. during the night time to grant local people with safe and stable environment.

It was learned that this theme patrol activity of “safe Rucheng”which was arranged by Rucheng County Party Committee and Rucheng Government would last for one month from this September 20 to October 20. Rucheng Forest Public Security Bureau took active actions on handling this activity by figuring out the arrangement of operators on duty, allocating patrol vehicles, and fixing the patrol time schedule. Every night from 19:30 to 23:00, 4 police officers would be dispatched to handle the patrol work along Jiulongjiang river by walking or by car.

Rucheng Forest Public Security Bureau kept the concept “prevention first”to stop the illegal behaviors and mediate disputes, and stop some uncivilized behaviors as jaywalking, disordered parking, and etc. Till now, four disputes have been settled by the patrol group.
