“The main construction work has been finished for the first phase of 660 suits of low-renting housing. We launched the second phase of 2070 suits of indemnificatory housing in last month” said the principal of Gaobi indemnificatory housing project of Beihu district, Chenzhou city. According to the requirements of Chenzhou indemnificatory housing project, they laid out their working schedule inverted and fought their best to finish the second phase work in the end of 2015.
It was introduced by Chenzhou Real Estate Bureau that 145,000 suits of indemnificatory housing had been finished in Chenzhou city till the end of last year. 394,200 people were benefited from the indemnificatory housing project, covering 19.2% of the total population of urban area. Urban minimum living guarantee families, low income families with housing difficulties, newly employed staffs without housing, migrant workers, families which were dispatched to forestry stations and coal mines with housing difficulties, and etc. were covered into the indemnificatory housing project. In 2014, in order to meet people’s housing demands, about 30,000 suits of indemnificatory housing were launched. 1.1billion yuan subsidies were obtained from upper level government and more than 32,000 people could be benefited with the indemnificatory housing and low-tenting housing subsidies. At the meantime, more finance supports were placed by local governments to consolidate the foundation of projects construction.
In order to accelerate the indemnificatory housing construction, Chenzhou city required that all counties and districts should perfect the daily scheduling system and focus on the targets to solve the problems hindered on the way of projects construction and help to accelerate the projects improvement. As introduced by Wang Weidong- Deputy Secretary of Yongxing County Party Committee and County Chief of Yongxing County, all the new projects which met the standards were specified with deadlines to finish the checking and approval procedures and fixed time schedules were issued to construction units with the final starting time. All were purposely to accelerate the promotion of projects construction.
At the meantime, indemnificatory housing construction was covered into “one hundred well-being projects” of Chenzhou city with enhanced government performance appraisal and “one-vote veto”. Till the end of this September, all the new indemnificatory housing projects were started in Chenzhou city with 100% starting rate, ranking the top place of Hunan province.
