December 2 was the third “national traffic safety day”. In the morning of that day, a launching ceremony for “national traffic safety day” was held in Chenzhou Traffic Police Detachment.

The theme of this activity was “resistance for 7 traffic violations, safe and civilized driving”. The 7 traffic violations were as follow: over-speed, over-load, drunk driving, drug driving, jump the red light, emergency lane occupancy, and no comity to zebra crossing. It was introduced by Wang Jiyuan- Chief of Propaganda Department of Chenzhou Traffic Police Detachment that the 7 traffic violations mentioned above covered about one quarter of the total traffic violations. Over-speed was placed the top place, which was known as “the first killer of the road”. Over-load and emergency lane occupancy happened regularly. Drug-driving became a new problem which caused great dangerous to the traffic safety.
