It was learned from the file of “general office of Hunan Provincial Government’s notification on 2014 assessment of demonstration towns of safety production”, Zhoumensi town of Zixing city was honored with the title of “2014 Hunan demonstration town of safety production”.

In recent years, the Party Committee and Government of Zhoumensi town paid highly attention on the safety production, followed the concept of “paying more attention on foundation, enhancing governance, and paying balance attention on symptoms and root causes”, kept the policy of “safety first, prevention first and comprehensive treatment”, enhanced the responsibility system with innovative measures and specified arrangement of staffs to carry out the establishment work of demonstration town of safety production. In recent 5 years, no safety production accident happened in the town which greatly helped to promote the safe and healthy development of the town’s economy and society.
