It was learned that “the report for operation of 2014 Chenzhou economic and social development and plan for 2015 Chenzhou economic and social development ( draft)” was released on the fourth session of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress. As shown on the report, the target for 2015 Chenzhou economic and social development is 10% growth of GDP.

According to the report, 2014 was the last year for “another three year” project, Chenzhou city kept the pace of “stable progress, reform and innovation, fast and sound improvement”and followed the general idea of “one modernization, two cities, three establishments and four main points” to take active actions on facing the economic downward pressure by keeping stable growth, adjusting structure, promoting reform and improving well-being condition, which helped it to stay in the first phalanx of Hunan province.

It also stated in the report that Chenzhou city would keep the general pace of “stable progress”for 2015 economic and social development by focusing on upgrading quality and efficiency, constructing well-off society, carrying reform and open up, promoting overall development of urban and rural areas, improving upgrading of industrial transfer and ecological environment construction, promoting “new three establishments”, “five upgrading”, and etc. All of those were purposely to explore a development way with good efficiency, low resource consumption, sound ecological condition, and innovation drive.
