It was learned from Chenzhou Housing Bureau that Chenzhou planned to implement 227 infrastructure projects with an annual investment of 19.6billion yuan in 2014. Till the end of last December, 19.947billion yuan investment has been fulfilled in Chenzhou city, accounting for 101.77% of annual plan. 71 projects as Boliping road, Dongta road, Convention and Exhibition Center, comprehensive treatment of downstream section of Chenjiang river, and etc. have been completed. 63 cross-year plans as Gaobi Market, Xiangnan International Electrical City, Xinjiang road, Xuzi Avenue, and etc. have finished the annual investment plan.

2014 was the last year for “another three year” project. Chenzhou city paid special attention on the projects construction and covered the infrastructure projects of urban area into evaluation range with specified responsibility mechanism. All the departments took active actions on promoting the projects construction, especially followed the requirements of “100-day battle”to fight for the construction from last third quarter. According to the record, the monthly progress for the project was with 50% growth compared with earlier month. Chenzhou Infrastructure Office handled out different measures as random inspection, regular checking, secret investigation, and etc. on the basis of the problems listed in the scheduling conference to follow up accordingly and ensure all problems to be settled well.

In 2014, 3.719billion yuan investment was finished on 70 road transportation projects. 38 roads as Wanhua east road, upgrading project of the south section of Nanling Avenue, X090 line, and etc. have been completed or have finished the annual investment plan. 32 roads as channel of Xiangxue middle road, Wenquan west road, and etc. were being promoted well. Some roads in old urban area were well fixed which helped to optimize the transportation condition.

378 suits of low-rent houses covered with 18,900square meters areas and 2645 suits of public rent houses covered with 180,900square meters were newly built in Chenzhou city. 10,000 families of shanty town covered with 929,000square meters were reconstructed. 3421 low-income families in urban area which suffered with housing problem have settled down.

In 2014, three-year plan for streetscape remould was carried out in Chenzhou city, which focused on the decoration work of exit of expressways, Chenzhou Xi station, primary and secondary arteries, crossroads, and etc. Currently, 21 primary and secondary arteries in Chenzhou urban area as Guoqing road, Renmin road, Yanquan road, Jiefang road, and etc. have been reconstructed; and 6 roads as Suyuan road, Jujing road, and etc. were being under construction. 460million yuan investment was accumulated to be finished. Furthermore, 661 buildings have been finished the decoration work. All of those helped to grant Chenzhou city with a totally new look. 659million yuan has been finished for the reconstruction of urban villages, so 1.393billion yuan has been accumulated to be finished on the project. Great efforts were also tried on the treatment projects of river system, ecological projects, greening projects, and etc. 2.186billion yuan was completed on 36 ecological construction projects, which further highlighted Chenzhou city’s feature of “mountain in the city, city in the forest, people in the green”.

In 2014, 6.37kilometers water supply network was reconstructed and upgraded; the second phase of Dongjiang river drinking water project was fully launched; 112.78kilometers sewage pipe network was finished which helped to upgrade the concentrate processing rate of urban sewage to be over 85%; 2 power transmissions with 110KV capacity were newly built, 152.55kilometers overhead lines were facilitated or reconstructed, and 53.7kilometers cables were newly installed, all of which helped to provide stable electricity supply for the urban
