Currently, along with the fulfillment of pre-arranged planning for minimum purchase price of medium and late season rice, 2014 entrusted grain purchasing work handled out by Chenzhou city was fulfilled accordingly. In 2014, 350,000tons of grain (143,000tons of which were entrusted to be purchased by Chenzhou city) were purchased in Chenzhou city, up 8%. It helped the farmers to get 120million yuan more income.

During the period of entrusted grain purchasing, the grain sectors of Chenzhou city took active actions on carrying out some activities to serve for the grass roots warehouses, and enhanced the supervision and checking work which effectively helped to protect the farmers’ profit. No complaint issued to all the 40 purchasing warehouses during the purchasing period. The purchasing policies were well implemented to meet the targets of “three satisfactions”of government, enterprise and farmer.

It was introduced that Chenzhou carried out the entrusted grain purchasing work in two consecutive years of 2013 and 2014. The grain system of Chenzhou city launched the largest construction of warehouses in the history under the condition of lacking of warehouses and warehousing capacities. 128million yuan supporting capitals were obtained from central, Hunan provincial and local governments. 150,000tons of warehousing capacity was upgraded in Chenzhou city, which helped to guarantee the purchasing work to be handled out fluently.
