It was learned from Qingyao town of Zixing city that currently the greening work for over 20kms village roads of Qingbai line and Qinglan line and 1.2kms Xiaodong river was finished in Qingyao town. More than 8000 camphor trees, blueberry ashes, and 600 photinia serrulatas were planted there, which greatly helped to promote the ecological environment construction.
In recent years, Zixing city placed great efforts on the promotion of ecological environment construction of towns. The greening tasks set for“two industrial parks, three lines, nine towns and 22 villages”have been fulfilled in the city. 4000 arbor trees higher than 6cm and 30,000 shrubs were planted there; 8 rural greening gardens, squares and flower beds were constructed there; and over 5000 square meters greening lands or public gardens were completed there.

In 2014, Lanshi town and Bailang town of Zixing county were awarded with the title of national ecological town; 6 towns as Tuanjie, Boshui, Lianping, Qingjiang, and etc. were past the on-site inspection of national ecological town; and 8 towns as Qili, Sandu, Tangxi, Zhoumensi, and etc. were awarded with the title of Hunan provincial ecological town.

Besides those, Zixing city would fully promote 9 key projects as follow: urban greening, afforestation of barren mountains and lands, channel greening, water basin greening, village greening, mine greening, and etc.
