Xiang Lili delivered a typical speech on behalf of Chenzhou city on the conference

It was reported that in the afternoon of March 21, 2015, the video and telephone conference for promotion of well-off society of Hunan province was held in Changsha city. Xu Shousheng- Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee addressed an important speech on the conference. Du Jiahao- Deputy Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province hosted the conference. Chenzhou city ranked the first place for 2014 Hunan provincial comprehensive assessment of promotion of well-off society and was rewarded on the conference. Xiang Lili delivered a typical speech there on behalf of Chenzhou city.

On the conference, Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government presented the guidance to different categories on the promotion of well-off society construction, rewarded the assessment results of 2014 and mobilized the attendants to handle the work of next stage.

As stated on the conference, important stage achievements were gained on the comprehensive construction of well-off society, it can be fulfilled only if keeping correct way for long-term. Comprehensive construction of well-off society is a tough fight which needs to meet the demands by grasping keys, specifying main points, solving problems and making up shortage. Great efforts should be tried to keep the increase, promote the development of county economy, improve poverty alleviation and development, and upgrade people’s living condition by handling overall deepening reform and rule of law. The fulfillment of well-off society is a solemn promise needs to be done with enhanced leadership, overall planning and hardworking. The development should be promoted with strong sense of responsibility. The force of classification guidance should be enhanced as well. The main body role of counties and towns should be well played. Practical working style should be followed to implement all work.

It was stated on the conference that strategic layout should be figured out based on “four comprehensives” and all attendants should work hard to contribute more to fulfill target of construction of well-off society.

Xiang stated on the speech that Chenzhou city kept promoting healthy development of economy and society by following the general concept of overall construction of well-off society, carefully implementing the general requirements of “four modernizations, two-oriented” and “increase on three elements”, handling overall development of urban and rural areas, and coordinately promoting the construction of “five in one”. In 2014, the total output value of Chenzhou city hit 187.26billion yuan, up 10.9%; total public fiscal revenue and local fiscal revenue hit 24.04billion yuan and 17.17billion yuan, up 11.2% and 17.2% respectively; and the increasing rate of urban and rural residents was up to 9.2% and 11.3% separately. In recent years, Chenzhou city kept the idea that promoting well-off society was to promote scientific development and placed great efforts on it, such as highlighting the “general idea”, classification promotion, transformation development, and reform & innovation. It also kept promoting county economy by improving infrastructure construction, industrial development and urban & rural construction. It paid more attention on making up shortages as regional development, well-being projects, scientific innovation and ecological civilization and gained significant results on accelerating the construction of well-off society. Chenzhou city would start new round work based on new starting point, follow decisions and layout of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government, fight for the main battlefield of poverty alleviation, and promote overall development of urban and rural areas to fight for fulfilling the construction of well-off society in the first place.
