Recently, two people who made troubles and racketeered some projects were arrested by Beihu District Police Station by law. That was just one of the cases handled out by Beihu district to optimize the economic development.
Recent years, in order to accelerate the economic development and upgrade its competitiveness, Beihu district carries out series effective measures to establish sound "soft condition" and reached "simultaneous resonance" effect. In 2015, 232 key projects with total budget investment of 83.66billion yuan and annual investment of 24.03billion yuan were being promoted fluently.

Some administrative approval and service issues were covered into the windows of administration center, which are capable to provide "one-stop" service to the people. Currently, there are 244 items are covered into the on-line administration service and e-supervision system, accounting for 100%. From 2014, Beihu district sorted out the administration approval items which were under implementation. Just 106 district-level administration level administration items were kept. It became one of the counties (districts) with least administration approval items.

At the meantime, Beihu district carried out the risk evaluation work for the construction environment of key projects. In 2015, 120 district and above level key projects have been finished the risk evaluation. Followed with the evaluation, 30 problems were discovered and 30 ones were solved coordinately; and 6 complaints about the construction environment were dealt with and settled with a decreasing rate of 20%.
