It was reported that a joint conference was held by Chenzhou United Front Work Department, Chenzhou Education Bureau, Chenzhou Povery-alleviation Office and the municipal party committees of democratic parties recently in Chenzhou city. It focused on allocating the project of “Yijiayi”which was mainly for edu-aid and employment.

Followed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on precision of poverty alleviation and overcoming poverty, Hunan Provincial United Front Work Department and Hunan provincial party committees of democratic parties launched this“Yijiayi” project. It followed the mainline on helping the poverty-stricken students to keep studying or find a job based on the new situation of poverty alleviation and development. It figured out the overall plan on government resources and united front powers to carry out the precision of edu-aid. The rural poverty-stricken students who have been registered in the records of the poverty-stricken countries of Hunan province are the main objects for this project. The funds would be issued to the students to finish 2-year study and recommend relative work to them, which would be helpful to reach the combination of study and employment, increase of income and poverty alleviation, and establishment of new pattern between the government and social edu-aid.

In 2015, Chenzhou city planed to collect 2million yuan to fund 500 students. Each student would be subsidized with 2000yuan living expenses each year, 4000yuan in total for 2 years. In the third year, they will be recommended to some enterprises or relative departments for internships. Besides the rural poverty-stricken students who have been registered in the records of the four national level poverty-stricken countries of Hunan province, some poverty-stricken students in other counties especially minorities were covered into the main objects of this project.
