It was reported that Li Ting- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City led principals of some subordinate departments to hold an on-site working conference for new rural construction in Layuan village of Yizhang county. They discussed the new rural construction and protection of Layuan ancient village there.

On the conference, a brief debriefing on the practical condition and future construction of Layuan village was delivered by the support team. All the principals of relative subordinate departments stated that they would try their best to support the new rural construction of Layuan village and shared their ideas with each other on the conference.

Li Ting stated that the new rural construction of Layuan village is the foundation for its well-off society construction. On the process of new rural construction, more attention should be placed on exact poverty alleviation and practical effects. The local party committees should try more efforts to implement relative work by taking the rural area and farmer as the principal points. The masses should be mobilized to join in the new rural construction and promote the further development of Layuan village. The support granted by subordinate departments would be helpful to promote the sustainable development of Layuan village. At the meantime, the support placed on Layuan village should be helped lay foundation for the future development of Layuan village. More respects should be placed on local historic connotation and development background so that the mass-demolishing and mass-constructing followed by subjective consciousnesses can be avoided. Layuan village which is with deep historic culture and connotation should be well protected, especially for its original characteristics. All the development and utilization should be handled out on the basis of protection. Furthermore, the tourism industry and agriculture industry should be improved. Generally speaking, it is purposely to improve people’s living condition and present a satisfied answer sheet to local people on the new rural construction.
