It was learned from Zixing Health Bureau that in the first half year of 2015, over 236,148 people registered into the new rural cooperative medical system and the total subsidies issued on it was amounted to 48.67million yuan.

From the beginning of 2015, Zixing city placed much more attention on the improvement of “100 well-being projects”- new rural cooperative medical system by adjusting and optimizing the subsidy policies and improving relative systems. It implemented prospective payment system on designated medical institutions of the city and multiple modes of payment that all farmers who registered in the system can pay by card in all the designated medical institutions. It also carried out the compensation mode by the combination of family clinic and overall clinic that all farmers who registered in the system can get the overall clinic compensation in the health clinics in towns. The minimum paying amount is 30yuan and the rate for the compensation is 50%. At the meantime, the maximum paying amount for the hospitalization expenses is 150,000yuan in Zixing city.

Till the early of this July, the participation rate of Zixing city was up to 99.81% which was 4.81% higher than the preset task.
