Chenzhou Inter-city Bus Station was placed to operation on August 3, 2015

It was reported that the opening ceremony for Chenzhou Inter-city Bus Station & Suoshiqiao Public Bus Hub was held on August 3, 2015, which indicated that the two bus stations were placed to operation officially. Chenzhou Inter-city Bus Station will be mainly in charge of the east lines. It is also an important transship station for the inter-province buses. Suoshiqiao Public Bus Hub will handle the operation of 153buses for 10 lines, which can be helped to reach the seamless connection between the public buses and inter-city buses. Zhong Benqiang- Director of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC hosted the opening ceremony.

Chenzhou Inter-city Bus Station is located in the junction of Sushiqiao bridge and Chenxian road. It covers 77mu lands with total construction areas of 48,111square meters. It is the first-class bus station approved by the State Transportation Ministry, which is a comprehensive bus hub with the functions of passenger transportation, public bus, taxi, parking lot and vehicle maintenance.

From August 3, 2015, the bus lines as Chenzi line and Liyutang line which were used to be operated in Chenzhou West Bust Station and Guidong line, Zixing line, Yanling line, and some other lines to the areas near Chenzhou urban area which were used to be operated in Chenzhou Tianlong Bus Station were moved to Chenzhou Inter-city Bus Station. Currently, there are 112 buses available in the newly constructed bus station which is mainly on the operation of eastern lines to Yanling, Guidong, Zixing and some other inter-county bus lines and lines for towns and counties of Suxian district. 186 shifts of 21 lines are operated daily which are capable to deliver 5000passengers/day.

Suoshiqiao Public Bus Hub is a comprehensive public bus station with the largest scale and most complete functions of Chenzhou city under current situation. It covers 20mu lands with the comprehensive functions of parking, cleaning, scheduling, refuel, maintenance, and etc. currently 153 buses for 10 lines are operated in the station, which are mainly in charge of the connection between urban areas and railway station and Chenzhou Xi station.

Zhang Ai Guo- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou city, Xie Chaohui- Member of Hunan Provincial Road Transportation Authority Party Committee, and Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Road Transportation Authority, and Li Hongde- Chairman of Hunan Provincial Road Transportation Association attended the opening ceremony.
