It was reported that Luo Wei-Member of Hunan Provincial CPPCC Standing Committee and Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial CPPCC Proposal Committee led a team with some members of Hunan Provincial CPPCC and researchers of Yuanjing Think Tank to visit Chenzhou city and investigate its improvement of high-speed train economy. They also held a symposium with some principals of relative departments of Chenzhou city and Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC. Chen Shezhao- Chairman of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC attended the symposium.

Thanks to the operation of high speed train, Chenzhou city steps into the “high speed train era” and starts to connect with Wuhan city cluster, Chang-Zhu-Tan city cluster and the Pearl River Delta city cluster together. It is greatly helpful to promote the improvement of Chenzhou economy by sharing the information and resources, and also step into a “one-city era”with Changsha, Wuhan, Guanghou and Shenzhen city.

All attendees analyzed Chenzhou city’s development opportunities of “high speed train era” on the basis of practical condition of Chenzhou city, introduced some measures and experience on seizing the chance to improve the development, listed some problems and difficulties on the process of construction, and presented some suggestions on promoting further economic development by handling better utilization of high speed train.

The members of investigation team of Hunan Provincial CPPCC presented their suggestions after listening to the reports, such as playing the best advantages of high speed train, integrating tourism resources, promoting the propaganda of tourism resources to popularize their fame, and forging sound brand of tourism. Luo Wei stated that high speed train is not only a chance but also a challenge for the development of Chenzhou city’s economy and Chenzhou city has to accelerate the improvement of new urbanization. Because of the rapid development of high speed train, higher level requirements on urbanization management and supporting of city and high speed train are proposed to the cities along it. The integration of urban and rural areas is an important course for “13th five-year plan”. Chenzhou city has to take active actions to connect with Changsha city and play the best role of high speed train to promote further development of ecological cultural tourism.
