It was reported that the one-billion-yuan Jiahe ecological agriculture photovoltaic project was started officially recently.

The project is located in Xinglang tea farm. Over 3000mu farming lands were transferred for this project. Its install capacity was 100MW. This one-billion-yuan investment project would be constructed in two years. 600mu lands were planned to be used for the first phase, which would be mainly used to build 19.8MW photovoltaic agricultural greenhouses and supporting facilities. According to the agreement, this project would be kept being operated for 30years with an annual generating capacity of 100million kilowatt hours which would help to save one million tons of coal, reduce 2.6million tons CO2 and 22500tons SO2 remission, and decrease 17500tons dust. Its estimated annual revenue would be 110million yuan and tax payment would be 10million yuan.

Jiahe ecological agriculture photovoltaic project is for the development of photovoltaic and ecological tourism on the basis of modern agriculture and also an emerging strategic industry integrated with first, second and third industry. It is with the theme of “internet+ photovoltaic+ modern agriculture+ ecological tourism+ science display”and targets of green ecology and healthy and environmental protection. It is purposely to be built as a photovoltaic agriculture demonstration base and full industrial chain platform.
