It was learned from Bolin Town Tobacco Station that over 21,400 loads of tobacco leaves have been purchased by the town till this October 12, accounting for 106% of annual task. 67.85% of them was top grade leaves and 32.81% was medium grade. The average purchasing price was 1463yuan/load. All of the indexes were higher than average level of Chenzhou city. The total output value of the tobacco leaves was amounted to 33million yuan, while the tax payment was over 6 million yuan.

In order to carry out the purchasing work fluently and well protect the farmers’ profits, Bolin town divided the time and sections to purchase the tobacco leaves. Two purchasing lines were opened at the same time, which helped to upgrade the efficiency of purchasing and decrease the workforce of farmers. Principals of “high purity, low vision”and “coherence” were strictly followed by the county to upgrade the grade and purity of tobacco leaves.

Furthermore, a waiting room which facilitated with some emergency medicines, tea, water, free lunch, and etc. was set in the station. At the meantime, each tobacco farmer was subsidized with 2yuan/load transportation subsidies.
