When reporters arrived at the construction site of the small water conservancy project of Xinwu village, Yaogangxian town, Yizhang county, local farmers were busy on handling the construction work passionately.

It was learned that this small water conservancy project which was selected via financial subsidies for Yizhang small water conservancy projects is one of the 2015 key projects of Yizhang county. 2 canals of 3000meters were planned to be built for this project and its total investment was amounted to 316,500yuan, including 200,000yuan financial subsidies, 20,000yuan financial supporting funds, and 96,500yuan collected funds. On learning the project was enrolled into the selection list, Yaogangxian town paid great attention on it and started the work rapidly to mobilize the masses to join in the construction work under the good season. The project was launched on September 28, 2015. 2 village cadres were dispatched to supervise the quality and progress of the project on site. The staffs of the water management station would go to check the construction work irregularly and follow it all times. They also asked the construction team to follow the implementation solution and project design to handle the construction work and make sure the project to be fulfilled with high quality.

This project would be helpful to prefect the infrastructure of water conservancy of Xinwu village, improve local production and living condition, and increase local people’s income. Currently, 700meters canals have been finished, and 1000 channels have been cleared. The project was estimated to be finished in the end of this November. Once finished, 500mu lands’ irrigation would be improved and recovered, which would benefit more than 900 villagers.
