It was reported that a working conference for “national check” and great upgrading of transportation was held in Chenzhou city on October 21, 2015. Zhang Aiguo- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the conference and required that the“national check”should be passed successfully. 

Chenzhou city was one of the two cities from Hunan province which selected by the State Ministry of Transport for national check of the maintenance and management of arterial highways from the end of October to early November. The total mileages for the national check of Chenzhou city’s normal arterial highways is 318.481kms. The five maintenance projects are as follow: overhaul and intermediate maintenance project- S322 Jiahe section; security project- G107 Suxian section and S322 Jiahe section; reconstruction of dangerous bridge project- Haokou bridge and Wubaidong bridge; and routine maintenance of bridge project- Luoxianpu bridge and Xiarujiang bridge. Chenzhou Highway Bureau, Liangtian Central Maintenance Station and Zhongshui Maintenance Station’s interior data are covered for standardized examination of interior work. The national check is an important review for the maintenance and management of arterial highways of Hunan provincial “12th five-year plan”. It was enrolled into the contents of Hunan provincial comprehensive targets for the cities’ transportation development and was connected with the transportation projects and capital plans. The projects which failed the check would be restricted for the projects approval and capitals allocation.

Zhang Aiguo required all relative departments should work together to ensure the national check to be passed successfully; should well prepare for the checking work; should fully show the achievements of transportation construction of Chenzhou city; should try best to fulfill all the targets preset for 2015 great upgrading of transportation, accelerate real work quality, collect more capitals and pay more attention on the environment treatment, security management and treatment of overload; and should pay more attention on “13th five-year plan”, new year plan and preparation work of projects to obtain more projects.
