It was learned from Rucheng Safety Supervision Bureau that Jiyi town was honored as Hunan provincial demonstration town of safety production. 89 towns and counties of Hunan province were honored with this title, 9 of which were from Chenzhou city. Jiyi town was the exclusive town from Rucheng county.

In recent years, Jiyi town placed the establishment of Hunan provincial demonstration town of safety production as one of its important agendas. All enterprises were specified with full-time management staffs of safety production and 14 administrative villages were set with communicators of safety production as well, all of which helped to form a comprehensive supervision network of safety production. At the meantime, emergency rescue headquarter of severe accidents was established in the town, by which figured out emergency plan and implementation plan accordingly. The specified working system for the safety production was formed in the town. Once the accident happened, it can be controlled and solved sooner. In order to prevent the accidents, the town handled out different measures to propaganda the safety production knowledge. The Supervision Station also carried out the checking work for all enterprises every month, which greatly helped to grant safe condition for the enterprises and people. Furthermore, professional account data were kept in files to handle dynamic management of safety production.
