As you can see from above image, some villagers of Xialong village, Fangyuan town, Guiyang county were working on the expansion of rural roads. From 2015, Guiyang county launched the upgrading and reconstruction of rural roads. The first batch of 82 upgrading projects covered with 264kms construction and 90 administrative villages were confirmed by public running. Once the projects finished, the village roads, town roads and county roads would be expanded to 4.5meters, 5meters and 6meters wide respectively, which would greatly help to improve the highway capacity of rural area. It was estimated that the first phase of the project would be finished in the middle of this December.
