Wu Wenxue- Deputy Managing Director of the State Tourism Bureau investigated Chenzhou

Wu Wenxue- Deputy Managing Director of the State Tourism Bureau visited Chenzhou city and investigated the development of tourism cultural industry of Feitian Mountain Landscape. He was highly amazed by the gorgeous Danxia landform and stated that Chenzhou city’s tourism industry would be with great expectation for its rich tourism resources and the State Tourism Bureau would keep supporting its further development. Wu also emphasized that it would follow the requirements of central government’s working conference of poverty alleviation to support Chenzhou city’s tourism poverty alleviation project on being listed into construction of national poverty alleviation demonstration of rural tourism.

Feitian Mountain Landscape is one of the important brands of Chenzhou tourism industry as well as national 4A landscape, national geological park, and national camping base. Hundreds of thousands of visitors are attracted there every year by its elegant Danxia landform and rich culture. From this year, Feitian Mountain was being improved rapidly and some masterpieces of landscape tourism culture were presented by it. On October 28, 2015, opening day of Chenzhou Tourism Festival, the large-scale live-action performance- “Feitian- Suxian” was firstly shown to public, which displayed the rich culture of Feitian Mountain. On December 15, 2015, Suxian Government signed the agreement of overall development of Feitian Mountain with Shunfeng Investment Industrial Co., Ltd., on which introduced 2 billion yuan to the construction of Feitian Mountain Tourism Culture Industrial Park. Now, Feitian Cultural Square, visitors center, live-action performance center, and some upgrading and reconstruction projects are being promoted there.

Wu highly praised the unique natural landscape and rich culture of Feitian Mountain. He said the beautiful natural sceneries and sound ecological environment of Feitian Mountain make people feel comfortable and enjoy their trips well. It should further upgrade the cultural connotation and tourism quality of Feitian Mountain Landscape and perfect the supporting facilities to create sound travel condition; should pay balance attention on development and protection to ensure ecological construction and tourism development to be promoted simultaneously and tourism industry to be improved rapidly and efficiently.

Wu highly affirmed Chenzhou city’s achievements on the promotion of tourism culture industry during his investigation. He said the party committees and governments of different levels of Chenzhou city paid great attention on the development of tourism culture industry. Due to sound understanding, development policies and investments, the industry was promoted greatly with sound ecological, economic and social effects. Wu stated that the State Tourism Bureau would keep concerns on its further development and place more supports on policies, marketing, construction, and other aspects; and would enhance the supports on tourism poverty alleviation, especially its construction of national poverty alleviation demonstration of rural tourism.
