It was learned that Guiyang South Bus Station which was with 6-month construction will be placed to operation soon. On the occasion, the parking lot in south urban area will be moved to South Bus Station, which will help to eliminate the potential risk of passenger transport and regulate the order accordingly.

The South Bus Station is located along Pearl Avenue of the downtown and near South Hunan International Logistics Park. 70million yuan investments were placed on the 45-mu big station, including 29877square meters construction areas. It is a comprehensive secondary passenger transportation bus station with the functions of passenger transportation, safety inspection, catering, car inspection and maintenance, car washing, and industrial management. The investment for first phase was 6million yuan, including the construction of car inspection room, public bus & taxi shutter, stopping pad, traffic shed, and etc.

It was introduced by Fei Lianggui, the Deputy Director of Headquarter Office of Guiyang South Bus Station Project, “according to the general plan of Guiyang county, there are two bus stations – south and north station will be constructed in the county. The south one is purposely to solve the potential risks of parking lot in south urban area.”

From its launching in April, 2015, it received great supports from local government and relative departments, so that it was handled out fluently.

Ai Shuigen, the General Manager of Guiyang Huayuan Properties Co., Ltd.- the construction site of the project, said to the reporters: “the site of the main yard, waiting room, and walls have almost been settled and all the project would be finished before December 25, 2015.”

On the consideration that there were too much rain in 2015, the construction site increased the working hours in the days with sound weather condition to ensure the project to be finished on time.

Once the bus station placed to operation on January 8, 2016, it can help to undertake 35% passenger flow of the county with the delivery capacity of 6000person/ day to east and south Guiyang county and other provinces. It would be helpful to present a great gift of 2016 Chinese New Year for all Guiyang county people.

It was introduced that in order to coordinate with the remove of parking lot of south area and the opening of South Bus Station, Guiyang county will handle a special action to regulate the order of passenger transportation. Furthermore, the second phase of South Bus Station, including the primary station and square in front of the station will be launched in 2016.
