It was reported that Gong Fengxiang- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee investigated Chenzhou Economy Development Zone and Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone on January 5, 2016. Gong stated that all departments should truly support the zones to solve problems and find better development modes.

Chenzhou Economy Development Zone is one of the Hunan provincial level industrial park established in Hunan province at the earliest stage. Currently, 642 enterprises are settled down there. In 2015, though under the descending trend of economy and slow down of investment, 25 industrial projects with 3.6billion yuan investments were introduced into the zone. Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone was estimated to reach 11.6billion yuan technology, industry and trade revenue and 61.5billion yuan industrial output value in 2015. The import & export trade volume was estimated to hit USD1.36billion, accounting for 48% of the total of Chenzhou city. It was estimated to finish 10 billion yuan of industrial projects investments with an increase of 21%.

Gong Fengxiang and his investigation team visited Hongsheng Textile, Changchong Innovation Entrepreneurship Park, Wuling Ecommerce Base, Jingui Silver City, Delta Electronics, Taiwan Industrial Park, and etc. and checked some details on operation, marketing, and problems hindered on the way of further development. Gong highly affirmed the achievements gained by the two zones. He stated that Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government proposed the concept of “keeping leading role of industry and improving coordinated development” and requirement of improving the development industrial parks, so all departments should follow and implement the policy well and help to solve the industrial parks’ problems effectively.

Gong required that all departments should support the development of industrial parks and serve well for them; should provide more favorable policies and more investments for them to optimize their administrative condition, and try to improve the industrial parks to be the low-lying lands of industrial development, enterprises development, and financial resources construction and upgrade the level of industrial parks. At the meantime, the industrial parks should change the ideas and enhance measures on the basis of their practical condition to enhance the investment attraction; should enhance the leading role of industry and provide better service for the enterprises settled down in the parks; should put forward more incentive measures, enhance the management of regulated operation, and well handle the honest working style to improve the parks daringly without trouble.
